Impact

One number can never describe regeneration. So we never publish only one.

The Atlas Regenerative Impact Score decomposes into thirteen dimensions. Aggregates are always shown next to their components, their confidence and their provenance.

ARIS design principles

The score is designed to resist gaming, surface uncertainty and reward transparency.

  • MODULAR

Thirteen dimensions scored independently. No dimension is hidden inside an aggregate.

  • UNCERTAINTY-AWARE

Every score carries a confidence interval. Low-confidence scores are displayed as such.

  • PROVENANCE-LINKED

Each dimension links to the data, method and verifier that produced it.

  • NON-GAMEABLE

Dimensions are weighted by evidence quality, not by what makes the score look best.

  • COMPARABLE

Scores are normalized to enable comparison across projects, sectors and geographies.

  • EVOLVING

Methodology versions are tracked. Historical scores are recalculated when methods improve.

Impact certificate types

Each certificate type has its own unit, methodology standard and on-chain representation. Impact records, financial instruments and tokens are kept strictly separate.
